This is a design from a 1986 publication, "Decorative Arts Digest." I was playing checkers with my granddaughter and it reminded me of this fun project. Some of the paints have changed since then, but you can find a variation on those colors that suits your preference. Enjoy painting this classic game of checkers with the adorable candy mints as pieces.
